Acute Hospital for the South West of Northern Ireland

The New Acute Hospital for the South West of Northern Ireland, with an approximate capital cost of £276 million, will be located to the north of Enniskillen. The site is at Wolf Lough, off the main A32 Enniskillen to Omagh Road and approximately 1 mile from Enniskillen town.

The new acute hospital will provide up to 312 in-patient and day case beds. The new hospital will deliver a wide range of services including acute medicine, surgery, older people and paediatric services; day and elective surgery, critical care, accident and emergency services, imaging and diagnostics and consultant-led maternity services. Also included in the new development is staff and key worker accommodation.
